Things to do with kids in Gorbals
Gorbals family plans can stay close to Crown Street and Ballater Street: browse books and old neighbourhood photographs at the library, build with Lego, or make time for a swim. The Citizens Theatre adds stories and live performance for different ages, while The Barn offers shared early-years play and activities for older children. Check the particular session before setting out: some local events have G5-resident or additional-support-needs conditions, and theatre shows have their own age recommendations and booking fees.
Choose library songs and Lego, swimming on Ballater Street, or an age-matched show at the Citizens Theatre. The Barn adds shared play and junior activities; check each group’s booking and any local-residence conditions.
