Oscar Marzaroli’s Gorbals: permanent photograph display

About this outing

This permanent display of 21 historical photographs at Gorbals Library is presented by Street Level Photoworks with the Marzaroli Collection and the library. Oscar Marzaroli’s portraits and landscapes document the Gorbals as older housing was cleared and new homes built. The display is advertised for all ages and is free; visit during library opening hours, not on Sunday. It can offer older children a way to compare streets and people in the past with the neighbourhood today. The library has accessible toilets and baby changing but no dedicated car park.
