Things to do with kids in Longsight
Longsight’s family outings are rooted in its everyday community spaces. On Stockport Road, the library brings multilingual books and stories within easy reach, while 422 Community Hub gives babies, toddlers and their grown-ups a place to play together. Northmoor Road adds community-led early-years sessions and homework help, with exhibitions and workshops at Longsight Art Space nearby. For more movement, choose the playground at Crowcroft Park or book a youth circus session in Longsight Business Park. Match the outing to the child and the timetable: several groups run only in term time, and the circus is a booked class rather than drop-in play.
Pair multilingual books at Longsight Library with play at Crowcroft Park, a community toddler group or a booked youth circus class. Check term-time and booking arrangements before setting out.
