Things to do with kids in Partick

Partick’s Dumbarton Road library makes a useful starting point for a family outing: read together, join songs and stories for under-fives, or choose a creative session for older children. Nearby church programmes offer a different kind of local gathering, from Thursday toddler time to Sunday children’s activities. Plan around the particular group rather than treating every community building as a drop-in play space. For Halloween 2026, the library has a full sequence of separately timed activities, including an author reading and mask making.
