Things to do with kids in Shenfield

Shenfield offers several different kinds of small family outing without treating all of Brentwood as one neighbourhood. On Hutton Road, the library hosts stories, rhymes, creative play and family games, while the Parish Hall gives local organisers a community venue. Around St Mary’s on Hall Lane, children’s groups sit alongside the quieter Butterfly Meadow nature stop. Alexander Lane and Courage Playing Fields add green-space choices, although the current play-area improvement works mean checking access before promising children a playground visit.
