About this outing
Peckham Rye combines a Victorian park with a historic common. Ornamental gardens, woodland, a lake and streams give families several ways to explore, including Sexby Gardens and the Japanese Garden. The council lists an adventure playground, a dog-free arboretum with picnic space, toilets and baby-changing facilities near Strakers Road and the Adventure Playground. The School Nature Garden is a learning space, rather than an unrestricted family activity.
