About this outing
Storyteller Emily shares the Octonauts’ adventure to Great Reef City before children make their own colourful coral reef relief with recyclable paper-based materials. Discover how reefs support marine life and learn about coral bleaching. Workshops take place in the Pavilion at the top of the Gardens on 27 and 28 October 2026.
Planning your visit
- Arrive at the Pavilion five minutes before the session; it is reached up a hill from London Road. No food or drink inside.
- On 23 October the operator reported Gardens closed for adverse weather, with Museum entry only from London Road and both nearby bus stops closed after burst water mains. Check its live travel and weather alerts before setting off.
