About this outing

School-aged beginners progress through Red, Amber and Green, learning safety and survival skills, all four strokes and eventually ten metres of independent swimming. Groups are advertised Monday–Friday from 3.45pm, in half-hour slots through 6.15pm. Foundation groups use the diving or main pool, while Development uses the main pool. Parents can watch from the café area or first-floor viewing gallery. Enrolment is open and pupils may join at any point, subject to an actual suitable available place; use the owner course-booking route to confirm the full current fee.
