20 Forthlin Road — Beatles childhood home tour
See Paul McCartney’s childhood home as part of the National Trust’s combined guided tour.
- Where
- 20 Forthlin Road, Allerton, Liverpool
About this outing
20 Forthlin Road in Allerton is visited on the combined tour with Mendips in Woolton. Entry is by pre-booked guided minibus tour only: visitors arriving directly at the houses are not admitted. Adult non-member admission is £37 and children aged 5–17 pay £18.50; members still pay £13 adult or £6.50 child towards the minibus. Under-fives are free. The Trust says peak-season prices can vary. Tours depart from the selected Speke Hall or Liverpool South Parkway pickup, not the house. Allow extra travel time for the published roadworks. Steps, narrow doors and first-floor stairs limit access inside; the minibus is accessible. Toilets are available at 20 Forthlin Road and pickup locations.
Planning your visit
- Book the combined minibus tour in advance and check the selected pickup location.
- Do not arrive at the house independently expecting admission.
