Things to do with kids in Henbury

Henbury gives families a useful mix of open space, small discoveries and organised activities. At Blaise, playgrounds and woodland paths sit alongside a museum of toys, clothes and household life, while the volunteer-run community garden offers a quieter look at growing and seasonal markets. Crow Lane library keeps a short book-and-rhyme visit close to hand. For water confidence, Henbury Leisure Centre on Avonmouth Way has a teaching pool and children’s lessons. Treat these as separate destinations with different opening and booking arrangements, rather than assuming everything on the estate follows museum hours.
