Things to do with kids in Small Heath
Small Heath’s family choices range from a straightforward playground visit to outdoor activities that need a little planning. Small Heath Park supplies the lake, toddler play area and open grass; Ackers Adventure adds slopes and bookable activities, with Beacon’s cycling sessions using the same site. For younger children, the library, Wellbeing Centre’s stay and play and EcoPark’s preschool nature programme give the area a useful indoor-and-outdoor mix.
Try Small Heath Park for playground time, book an Ackers activity for older children, or plan ahead for preschool play and EcoPark nature sessions.
