West Norwood Cemetery

A quiet heritage walk through 40 green acres, with restored memorials and a visitor centre.

About this outing

West Norwood Cemetery is one of London’s Magnificent Seven Victorian cemeteries. Restoration has repaired listed memorials and improved the landscape, while the lodge now houses a visitor centre with exhibitions and a community room. The 40-acre site offers a different kind of outdoor outing for families interested in local history: a peaceful walk, not a playground visit.
