About this outing
Victoria Park is in Canton and has a children’s playground for children up to around twelve, colourful flower borders, a bandstand and the Billy the seal sculpture. The park opens at 7.30am and closes thirty minutes before sunset throughout the year. Public toilets and baby-changing facilities are near the playground; a refreshment kiosk operates throughout the year. Tennis courts and the multi-use games area are open year-round without charges. There is no dedicated car park: use surrounding on-street parking subject to restrictions. The splashpad is seasonal and does not operate in bad weather; its displayed daily hours do not establish an autumn opening season. Do not plan an October water-play visit without a current seasonal notice.
Planning your visit
- Splashpad opening is seasonal and weather-dependent; check current operation separately.
