About this outing
The Ardagh is a community-run site on Horfield Common, with public gardens, sports courts, a community plant nursery and café. The café normally opens daily 10:00–16:00, serving hot food 11:00–14:30; the wider site is 08:00–21:00. Events, court hire and workshops have separate bookings and charges. Ardagh Community Trust manages the site, with its wholly owned Horfield Common CIC operating the café, nursery and some events. Paths are described as being in poor condition pending resurfacing, and toilet-block replacement is planned: contact the operator about current access needs rather than assuming future improvements already exist.
