About this outing
Role2Play is an indoor role-play town at 75 Fulbourne Road. Children can pretend to work in a café, shop in a supermarket, care for patients and animals, or build on a construction site. The owner describes the play as suited to independent walkers through age six. Standard play costs £12.50 for a child, with one extra child £10.50 or two extra children £19. Prewalkers and adults are free when accompanying a full-priced child ticket. Registered childminders pay £10 per child and must show proof on arrival. Bookings accommodate no more than two adults; only one adult per child may enter the play area. Play sessions run 9.30–10.45, 11.30–12.45 and 1.30–2.45, with 3.30–4.45 available only Friday–Sunday and during school holidays. The specific opening notice says Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30–3, Friday–Sunday 9.30–5, and closed Tuesdays except during half-term (not summer holidays). Check the booking calendar for your date rather than relying on the generic daily-hours footer. Check in at the café and leave pushchairs in the designated buggy parking. Remove shoes and wear socks in the play area; socks can be bought at the café. The café remains open for 30 minutes after a play session before the venue closes for cleaning.
Planning your visit
- Book online to guarantee a place; booking closes 15 minutes before a session if spaces remain.
- Cancellations are non-refundable; bookings can be rescheduled up to six hours before the session starts.
- No birthday cakes, decorations or party items during standard play sessions; birthday celebrations require a separate party booking.
- Parking restrictions apply Monday–Friday 10am–4pm. The venue sells FR-zone parking permits; Willow House pay-and-display car park on Fulbourne Road E17 4AX is about five minutes away on foot. Wood Street station is approximately a 13-minute walk.
