About this outing

RampWorld’s two-hour beginners-only sessions cost £10 per rider and are designed for slower practice: no jumps, tricks, fast riding, foam pit or Resi ramp. Free BMX coaching is available on request within the session. The park advises beginners to use these sessions rather than busy public afternoons. Check the current term-time or school-holiday timetable before visiting. Complete the park’s free public rider registration; under-16s require a parent or guardian’s details. Everyone under 16 and all scooter riders must wear a helmet; helmets are not rented, and the park sells them from £20. Bikes and scooters need bar-end plugs, sold for £2 each; fold-up and three-wheeled scooters are not allowed. Equipment rental is additional: skateboard £3, scooter £6 or BMX £10 per session.

Planning your visit

  • Register riders before attending; under-16s need parent or guardian details.
  • Bring a helmet and correctly fitted bar-end plugs; helmets cannot be rented.
  • No jumps, tricks, fast riding, foam pit or Resi ramp in beginners sessions.
