A Canton pottery studio where families paint, make clay creations and record little handprints.

- Peggy’s Pots, The Bone Yard, Paper Mill Road, Canton, Cardiff, CF11 8DH
About this outing
Peggy’s Pots operates from The Bone Yard’s shipping-container village at the bottom of Paper Mill Road in Canton. This is the Cardiff studio, not its Goodsheds branch in Barry. Family pottery painting uses an indoor seat booking, with highchairs available on request; reserve a place for everyone attending, including supervising adults. Pay for the piece you paint, with no studio fee for ordinary Canton painting. Most pottery items are £14–£25; check your chosen item’s price before painting. Bookings of eight or fewer need card details, not advance payment; cancelling inside twenty-four hours or not attending can incur £5 per person. Ramps can be provided for the studio, but the Bone Yard toilets do not have wheelchair access or a baby-changing table. On-street parking is on Paper Mill Road. Check the live booking calendar for the actual session: ordinary hours and additional school-holiday openings vary.
Planning your visit
- Book seats for supervising adults as well as children.
- Studio ramps available; Bone Yard toilets are not wheelchair accessible and have no baby-changing table.
