About this outing
Improve cycling technique and confidence through fun exercises and races in a one-hour inner-track session. Bikes and helmets are included or you can bring your own. Sessions last one hour and take place on the inner track. Riders must start, stop safely and pedal independently without stabilisers. Children need to be independent enough for grown-ups to watch outside the track fence; adults stay on site.
Planning your visit
- Bring water, a snack, gloves, comfortable layers and waterproofs. Closed-toe shoes are required; no sandals, sliders, Crocs or flip-flops.
- Meet beyond the pavilion at the thick blue line between the blue seating and picnic area. Cross the track only when invited by the coach and remain inside until escorted out.
- Arrive early if borrowing a bike. Children arriving more than ten minutes late cannot join the session.
