About this outing
Become a history helper at West Norwood Library. Children learn about Mary Seacole, the nurse and businesswoman who travelled to care for sick and wounded soldiers, then decorate their own pretend medical case and draw or write the things she might have packed. This free Black History Month activity is for ages 5–12.
