About this outing
The Hunterian offers guided tours of the Mackintosh House on Fridays and Saturdays 10.15–11am. Book in advance through the linked Eventbrite route; each tour is limited to twelve people. Tickets cost £20 per person, with under-18s free. The house is a reassembly of the main rooms from the Glasgow home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh. The tour is separate from ordinary general admission (£12 adult, £8 concession, under-18 free). It has four levels and 62 steps, and wheelchair or mobility-impaired access is limited to the introduction gallery, orientation room, hall and dining room. Check the specific dated ticket before booking; the weekly programme is not itself a reservation.
