The recreation ground has a playground, mini tennis, basketball, football and a BMX/skate park. Car parking is via the Cambria Gardens entrance. Contact council Customer Services for pitch bookings. The council lists winter opening from 1 October to 31 March as 07:30–18:00, and summer opening from 1 April to 30 September as 07:30–20:30.
