About this outing
The independently operated Hay Bale Café is inside the Playful Barn at Hartcliffe City Farm. It normally opens Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 09:00–16:00, serving coffee, house-made cakes and family-friendly snacks, with decaf and non-dairy options. The Pay It Forward token scheme can cover part or all of an order for anyone in need, with no questions asked; ask at the till. Menu items are otherwise charged. Check its social updates for holidays and changes. The farm’s current outdoor playground is unsafe and the farm is not currently wheelchair accessible.
