About this outing
Fletcher Moss Park offers a mix of garden, woodland and meadow for a local nature outing. Look for interesting trees and plants in the rockery, or use the walking paths towards the River Mersey. The Friends say the park opens dawn to dusk and admission is free, with a charge for tennis. Most paths are suitable for pushchairs, but the rockery is not wheelchair accessible and river paths are shale rather than asphalt. Toilets are usually available 9am–4pm or until the café closes. Keep children supervised around water.
